Both Canon XSi or 450D and Nikon D80 are digital SLR camera for enthusiasts. Both of them have almost similar price. XSi’s body only price is aprox. $650, and D80’s price is aprox. $700 but D80 is discontinued, so it is hard to get a new copy.

Nikon D80’s advantage compared to Canon XSi / 450D
- Better body construction, better viewfinder (brighter and bigger).
- Dual LCD Screens : Very useful for outdoor or bright condition.
- Better control with dual dials command.
Others
- Auto Focus’s speed and performance are equal.
- Lens selections and accessories between Canon and Nikon are equally complete.
- Excellent image quality
- D80 is slightly bigger and 80g heavier.
