EISA awards 2008 Photography and Video

Sony scores five EISA awards, Panasonic grabs three awards, Canon and Nikon wins three, Olympus gets two and Tamron get one.

Consumer lens of the year: Tamron AF 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO
Lens of the year: 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G SSM Lens
Professional lens: AF-S Nikkor 14-24mm and AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8 G ED

HD Flash Camcorder: Sony HDR-TG3 High Definition Camcorder

EISA Awards are presented each year to the best products in photographic, audio visual, video, and mobile product categories as voted by the EISA (European Imaging and Sound Association) panel consisting of editors-in-chief and technical editors of about 50 leading and influential magazines in 20 European countries that specialize in photography, audio, video and mobile electronic products.
