Compare to Panasonic G1, Gizmodo, a gadget review site, claims G1 is as good as GH1 in shooting still images. The main difference of the two camera is the ability to shoot movie. Panasonic GH1 is easier to operate than the other DSLR because of the fluid AF operation and Image Stabilization. But Gizmodo thinks that the street price of $1500 is too high.

Panasonic GH1 is not available yet in stores, but you can get his sibling, Panasonic G1 for almost half the price.
