New leaked picture from Canon 7D camera and three lenses via Canon Rumors. The body design is a bit different from Canon 50D especially if we look at the back of the camera. The buttons on the back are now placed on the left side instead in the bottom (which is great). It pushes the LCD screen to the right. As a result, the 360 degree joystick and main ring dial become more accessible by your finger (another good improvement).

The main concern is the noise in high ISO setting. This is very important for sports photographer or photojournalists, this. 18 megapixel in the APS-C size sensor seems like pushing the limit. While its closest competitor, stay to 12 megapixels in their cameras such as Nikon D90, Nikon D700 and Nikon D300s, Canon keep boosting up the megapixel. Canon argues that more megapixel is essential for print quality.
Canon 7D is the latest advanced Canon camera designed for sports photography in mind. It has dual Digic IV processor, 19 AF points and capable to shoot 8 fps. Canon 7D is a serious competitor for Nikon D300S.
Canon is also expected to launch three new lenses. Two is a standard zoom lens for crop sensor camera (EF-S), and one 100mm macro L lens with hybrid IS technology.
