Canon 7D is a compact DSLR camera designed for sports or action photographer. Although it is planned to be announced in early September, the specification is leaked via Canon Rumors website.

Canon EOS 7D is a step up from Canon 50D but not necessary a replacement. It will compete with Nikon D300s. Estimated price will be around $1500 to $2000.
