Nikon D3s rumors

There is a wild rumors spreading in the net about this new camera. It is a possibility because Nikon just updated its Nikon D300 to Nikon D300s. (Nikon adds video features, faster continuous speed and dual card slots). So it is normal for pro Nikon users to expect them to release Nikon D3s.

Here is a speculated specifications:

  • 9 fps / 11 fps in DX mode continuous shooting
  • 12 mp full frame (FX) sensor (new)
  • Full 1080p HD video
  • ISO up to 12800 expandable to Hi-3 102.400
  • Price: $5000-6000
  • Quiet Mode
  • Anti-Dust (D3 does not have anti-dust)
  • Expected in stores on November 3rd, 2009

14 fps continuous shooting will make D3s the fastest camera surpassing Canon 1d mark III which has 10 fps and has been in the market for a few years. Native ISO will be increased to 12800 and expandable to ridiculously high at 102.400.

UPDATE: No 14 fps

The wait is over, Nikon D3s has been announced!
