Some news that interest me:

Lexar Announces New Pro 32 GB CompactFlash Cards with Reported 600x Write Speeds which is very important for video recording and shooting continuously in high image resolution. 2 years ago when most camera has 10 megapixel or less, 2-4 GB are adequate for most people. But now, with many pro cameras has 15, 21, 24 MB range, plus the video recording mode in beginner or pro line, there are big demand for high speed high capacity memory cards.
Leica S2 got tested – Hands-on report with full-size sample image – Leica S9, portable medium format camera which cost $22,900 body only is quite popular for pro studio photographers, but this camera will be delayed until next year.
There is also discussion about compact cameras with large sensor and why their performance are not up to par to digital SLR yet.
Talking about advanced compact camera,
Christian Sorega, an avid Ricoh camera fans, published 52 flash pages dedicated on Ricoh GRD 3. While Ricoh GRD3 has small sensor, but it is a very well designed compact camera. Ricoh makes such a good product and no wonder they have loyal and passionate fans all over the world. Check out my personal review of Ricoh GRD III.
Thanks to 1001 noisy cameras for the news updates.
