by Enche Tjin on January 23, 2010

Yesterday, I found a very interesting article from New Media Photographer about how professional photographer operates in today world and to the future. In the late 1990s many photographers move into digital photography because DSLR starts to provide closely comparable result to film camera. Now in 2010, there are plenty of DSLR has video recording capability. The marketing has also changed from traditional advertisement in local paper/magazine and moved to online via social media and websites.

Here are the highlights of the article:

1. Photographers start to take advantage of video capability to produce multimedia products.

2. Using social media as a tool for communication, collaboration and marketing

3. Automated client management, especially billing and sales.
