Filmmaker Jamin Winans and Futuristic Films make a video for Pentax using Pentax K7 with Pentax lenses. The title is Uncle Jack. It is a action movie featuring car race, gun shooting and humor and shot in downtown Denver entirely at night. This short movie (5 minutes) showcase Pentax K7 capability in movie recording in low light.

According imaging-resource, the movie was shot using PENTAX DA Star 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL (IF) SDM, the smc PENTAX DA 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED (IF) Fish-Eye and the smc PENTAX DA Star 60-250mm F4 ED (IF) SDM lenses.

Note that the movie is recorded by professionals with many extra equipments and professional crews

Then, there is another short film titled The Rider

Another big news is Pentax will release a long waited and talked digital medium format 645D soon. It is definitely not for consumer because of the hefty five digit price tag.
