Tips on using compact camera – Self Timer

by Enche Tjin on February 3, 2010

self-timerToday, I have small tips for compact camera users, especially the tiny ones. Many times, when we take a picture in low light, our picture is so blurry. One of the reason is when we press the shutter button to take picture, we unintentionally shake the camera. This is worsen if you have very small compact camera, the shake magnitude will be relatively bigger.

Self  timer is a function to instruct a camera to take picture after you press shutter button. In most of digital camera, you could set it to two or ten seconds. By using self timer, camera could be more steady when you take picture, as a result, you get less blurry pictures.
