Panasonic Leica 25mm f/1.4 for micro four thirds (m43)

by Enche Tjin on June 14, 2011

Along with Panasonic GF3, Panasonic announces Leica 25mm f/1.4 (equivalent to 50mm in full frame camera) for micro four thirds system. This lens will be compatible with micro four thirds system cameras, including Panasonic GH, GF series, and Olympus PEN cameras.

This is wonderful addition to micro four thirds system. Beside the 25mm f/1.4, Leica also has Leica 45mm f/2.8 Macro lens for m43 system.

This 25mm lens will have nano coating to reduce flare, perhaps the first one on m43 lenses. The addition of this lens make m43 system one step closer to compete with traditional DSLR camera system.
