Sony NEX 7 – NEX 5N and A77 Specs

Today, Photo Rumors posted Sony NEX7, 5N and A77 specs. Sony NEX is a compact interchangeable lens system camera that able to produce very high quality images equal to traditional DSLR cameras.

Sony NEX-7 is intended for enthusiasts photographers and currently has the best built-quality and features. It will have groundbreaking 24MP sensor which is the first of it class (APS-C sensor cameras). From the leaked picture, it will also have magnesium alloy body and many dedicated buttons and dials to answer more experienced photographer needs. NEX system will be compatible with Sony E-mount lens, or DSLR Alpha lenses via an adapter.

Sony NEX-5N is the most compact NEX camera with magnesium alloy body and similar to Sony NEX 5 but with new 16MP sensor. It looks like the same image sensor as Nikon D7000, Pentax K5 or Sony A580 which is very good in low light situation.

According to rumors, Sony will also release new brand sets of lenses intented for Sony NEX’s E-mount

1. 55-210mm f/4-6.3 super zoom lens
2. Carl Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 fixed-length lens
3. 50mm f/1.8 prime or macro lens
4. 16-50mm f/2.8 lens (will likely to pair with Sony NEX7)
