Citywalker is a messenger style camera bag that designed for street photographers. It is lightweight, soft, and versatile. Currently Thinktank Photo has several kinds of shoulder bag. Citywalker is quite similar to Urban Disguise and Thinktank Restrospective series.

Compare to Urban Disguise, Citywalker is less bulky and boxy. It is more flexible and you can remove all the padding to convert it to regular messenger bag. However, you can’t transform Citywalker bag to backpack like many Urban Disguise bag. It is easier to access your gear on Urban Disguise bag because it doesn’t has flap thus, it has direct access to the main compartment.

Compare to Thinktank Retrospective, Citywalker is much more modern in design. Citywalker has large, easy access front pocket for accessories, and thinner material.

I think Citywalker bag is ideal for street photographers who want high quality bag that doesn’t stand out as a camera bag. At a glance, it is small, but it can fit a lot of gears inside thanks to the expandable pocket and flexible construction. Great for either DSLR or mirrorless system users. It also can transform to regular messenger bag when you don’t carry your photography gear.
