Canon 3D has whopping 46MP sensor and 1D style body

Canon 3D might break the Nikon D800 record as the highest image resolution full frame digital SLR camera soon. It has 46 MP.

This rumor is spreading wildly because BHphoto video, one of the big camera retailer post an entry about Canon 3D.

Many sites considered it is a hoax.
