Sony updates its compact RX100 II and RX1 R

It is only a year since Sony announced Sony RX1 and RX100 camera. Today, Sony has updated both of cameras: Sony RX1 R and Sony RX100 II.

Sony RX1 is the smallest and the only compact camera that sports full frame CMOS sensor. In the new version, Sony removes its AA filter so imges could be sharper. Eliminating AA filter seems to be the trend today, following Nikon D800E, Pentax K5 IIs and Nikon D7100.

Sony RX100, compact camera that sports 1 inch sensor also get a few updates. Now, it has a hotshoe for attaching external flash, electronic viewfinder or an microphone. RX100 also gets WiFi, tilting LCD screen and new Back Side Illuminated sensor Sony claims that it will performs better in low light condition.
