by Enche Tjin on October 17, 2013

Nikon D5300 is not much different than Nikon D5200. Let’s check their differences.

1. Nikon D5300’s image sensor doesn’t have AA filter, so resulting picture will be sharper than Nikon D5200 or D3200. Example images can be downloaded at Nikon Asia page.

2. Nikon D5300 WiFi and GPS features are built into the camera, so no need to plug in more accessories.

3. The size is a bit smaller (2-3milimeter).

4. Price is the same as the D5200 when it launches $799

Nikon D5300 is great for beginner or amateur photographers who want to produce sharp images with relatively compact DSLR camera.

Nikkor 18-140mm lens f/3.5-5.6 VR lens bundled with the camera is ideal to optimize the images and flexibility. Total cost will be $1400
