Hello prettychill, I wrote recommendation for Nikon lenses for Nikon D5000 a while ago, please check it out.

I also wrote Sigma lens recommendation here. Look for Sigma HSM lens because they will auto focus on D5000 just fine.

As a compact camera, the quality of Fuji S200 EXR is great. The limitation of this camera compared to DSLR camera is that, it can't change lens and also it has small sensor which limit the depth of field and overall image quality (especially indoor).

Considering the price point, this will make pretty good camera for learning, but it will be limiting soon if you demand a higher quality images especially in low light condition.

I think If your end goal is to get full frame system (D700+FX lenses) then you should save more money rather than jumping to D7000.

About the lenses, yeah you need to make sure than your lenses are compatible with FX cameras.

I was curious...I have started my own business and currently shoot with the D3000 but I want to upgrade in the future...is it worth it to sell my d3000 and get into the d7000 now or save up for the d700 down the road?

My main concern is being able to purchase lenses now that will also be compatible with any upgrades I make later. Any pointers? My head is going in circles trying to figure out what to do with the lens vs camera upgrade situation.

Thanks!

There are some factors that cause your pic blurry. Most popular causes are the shutter speed is not fast enough, taking picture in dark situation, or the subject you are photographing is moving in a rapid pace.

Also try to make sure the steadyshot is on.

I suggest Nikon D7000 for all rounder. This camera is good enough for casual and also for serious photography.
